Apart from Sangha Services, Cristina and Ravi dedicate their time to a social project in the city of Benares: the NGO Swawalambi.
Cristina is vice president of Swawalambi Spain, and Ravi is manager and secretary of Swawalambi Society in India.
The NGO´s aim is to help disadvantaged people and / or families to achieve self-sufficiency, giving them useful tools to improve their future and that of their descendants. Through personalized attention, each beneficiary receives the appropriate help to launch their own project and thus achieve self-sufficiency or self-sustainability.
Swawalambi began its journey in May 2015, and together with the help of donors and collaborators it continues working to improve the quality of life of the inhabitants of Varanasi.
