The Ganges, considered as one of the most sacred rivers in India, flows down from the Himalayas to the city of Calcutta, on the east side of the country. In its course of 2.525 km it passes through many villages and cities, some of which have acquired especial importance due to the affluence throughout history of people devoted to spiritual practices (sadhus) and pilgrims coming from all corners of India.
Rishikesh and Haridwar are located in the state of Uttarkand, at the foothills of the Himalayas. In a wonderful natural environment, the river flows meandering through mountains and villages built on its banks and overflowed with spirituality as they are home to hundreds of monasteries, temples and places of worship. Rishikesh has also become the cradle of present-day yoga, with hundreds of centres dedicated to the transmission of this ancient practice.
Allahabad is one of the most sacred cities for Hindus. Here the river Ganges not only flows by but the 3 most sacred rivers of India converge therein: Ganges, Yamuna and Saraswati (hidden). Apart from being a pilgrimage site, Allahabad is the stage of one of the largest religious festivals of the world, the Kumba Mela, the biggest gathering of sadhus, spiritual masters and gurus of India.
Varanasi is also one of the most sacred cities of India. There the Ganges changes its course and flows south to north, allowing to see the sunrise from the western bank (where the city is built), one of the most magical moments of the day. In the most enigmatic city of India, the ritual baths in the river is a colourful event worth seeing and enjoying it.
At Sangha Services, we would like to show you the magic, power, and sacredness of the Ganges. We want you to have a first-hand experience of the beauty of India, its culture and its people and introduce you to their beliefs, traditions and rituals. For India is a country worth living it, and if you can do it with native people and people from your own culture living in India for years, you will have a much broader vision of what the country is: an emblem of spirituality in the world, worth knowing it.
During the 15 days of this trip you will have time to practice yoga and meditation, to connect with nature, to engage in adventure sports (optional). You will have free time to enjoy each place and to live your own adventures. You will see the wonderful Taj Mahal, walk the Varanasi ghats, visit the birthplace of Buddhism… and much more!
And, all throughout the trip, you will have Spanish translation.

“With Sangha Services, you will be able to visit India your own way.”
"We wanted to visit India but we were afraid of doing it on our own, and we did not feel like joining a 100% organised tour. With Sangha Services, you will be able to visit India your own way, but with the support of a serious and professional agency. They are very flexible and adapt to meet your personal tastes; moreover, their advice would always be the best"
